The ET4Digital project is pleased to announce its Final Conference, which will be held on 1st October 2026, from 16:00 to 19:00, at the Lakeside Science und Technologie Park in Klagenfurt, Austria (Gb B12).

The event will bring together the project consortium, partners, and stakeholders to present the results achieved two years of work supporting the digital transition of the construction sector.

The programme will open with welcome remarks from Riccardo Cariani (European Center of Entrepreneurship Competence & Excellence), followed by an overview of the project's key results presented by Luisa Sileni and Sara Olivieri (IIPLE). Letizia D'Angelo (R2M) will then discuss the digital and technological evolution of the construction sector, focusing on Digital Twin services, while Marco Bragadin and Andrea Ballabeni (University of Bologna) will present the evolution of the ET4Digital demonstrator. The session will close with a discussion on digital skills growth among trainers and VET providers, coordinated by Max Rapa (Fundación Laboral de la Construcción) with contributions from all project partners, followed by a Q&A session and a networking aperitif.

ET4Digital – Empowering Trainers for Digital Innovation in the Construction Ecosystem – addresses the construction sector's slow uptake of technologies such as BIM, IoT, Augmented Reality, and Digital Twin, which are essential for competitiveness, innovation, and sustainability. Over the course of the project, trainers were trained to become change agents capable of guiding SMEs through digital transformation, using innovative tools, new teaching methodologies, technology demonstrators, and capacity-building programmes designed to make the sector more attractive to young people and professionals.

The Final Conference marks an important milestone in the project's journey, offering an opportunity to reflect on the results achieved and their impact on the future of digital skills in the construction ecosystem.
