The ET4Digital project has reached another significant milestone: Deliverable 4.1 – the Capacity Building Programme is now complete and available on our website. The training modules, co-designed by experts from all partner organisations, are ready and will enter the pilot testing and validation phase across the consortium countries.
The Capacity Building Programme represents the core educational output of the ET4Digital project. It translates the evidence gathered in the analysis phase (WP2) and the hands-on experience developed through the Digital Twin demonstrator (WP3) into four structured training modules, each addressing a key dimension of digital transformation in the construction sector:
Around twenty experts from the seven partner countries - combining teaching know-how with hands-on technical experience - worked together in dedicated thematic groups. Each module follows a shared, easy-to-use structure that blends clear explanations with practical case studies and exercises, so that trainers receive materials they can readily adapt to different national contexts and classroom settings. The courses are built for blended learning and will be available in English as well as in the partners' national languages.
What happens next? Starting now, and through the end of Summer 2026, the modules will be piloted across all partner organisations. Trainers, teachers, and construction professionals in Italy, Spain, Germany, Greece, North Macedonia, Estonia, and Austria will engage with the content in real training settings, testing its effectiveness, usability, and transferability. Their feedback will feed directly into the validation process, for wider use beyond the partnership.
This phase marks one of ET4D most important chapters: putting the tools in the hands of the people they were built for.
Stay tuned for updates from the pilot sessions.
