On 8 October 2026, IIPLE – Scuola Edile di Bologna organised a dissemination conference for the European Erasmus+ project ET4Digital during SAIE Bologna 2026, one of Italy’s leading construction trade fairs, held at BolognaFiere. The conference, entitled “Dal progetto al cantiere: percorsi di digitalizzazione per le costruzioni” (From Design to Construction Site: Digitalisation Pathways for Construction), brought together construction professionals, trainers, researchers and SMEs. The event featured contributions from leading experts, including Prof. Angelo Ciribini (University of Brescia), who discussed digital information management and Artificial Intelligence in construction; Franco Rebecchi (BimO Open Innovation), who presented a practical case study on digital transformation in construction; and Prof. Marco Bragadin and Andrea Ballabeni (University of Bologna), who showcased the ET4Digital Digital Twin demonstrator and its applications for construction site management. The conference provided a valuable opportunity to share ET4Digital's results and promote digital innovation and skills development within the Italian construction sector.
